Managing Emotional Symptoms.

When coping with stress or anxiety it is easy to feel defeated and as though you have lost control. It is important for you to process the feelings that you experience during your periods of anxiety but also after they have subsided.

Don't let anxiety change how you feel about yourself – it is only one of many feelings that you have. "A feeling will only last 90 seconds... if you let it" (Tara Brach), be careful of letting your thinking brain get in their and escalate or drag-out a feeling. Since feelings only last 90 sec's- try not to make a decision based on a temporary feeling.
