Managing Physical Symptoms.
The physical symptoms of stress and anxiety can feel overwhelming. At times it may feel like our bodies' response to our fear is beyond our control. Interestingly it is precisely your body that knows exactly how to handle these physical reactions of stress and anxiety- not your head. Our bodies do not want to be in a constant state of stress or anxiety, but usually our head aka our thoughts keep us in these states.
You cannot have an anxious mind in a relaxed body
Your body can embrace these reactions, because your body knows how to metabolize emotion and bring you back to homeostasis in order to maintain health. Homeostasis is the internal process that helps us to return to balance and normal state of arousal.
